Television is an award-winning director duo comprised of Donari Braxton and Takeshi Fukunaga. Together, they are known for their feature films, but also specialize in commercial and docu style work, heavily based on a narrative approach. Their clients include Shiseido, Mercedes, Puma, Reebok and HBO.
"Out of My Hand" is their latest feature film directed by the duo, taking viewers inside the humble life of Liberian rubber plantation worker Cisco. Severe working conditions, failed unionization and corporate corruption ultimately drive him away from his family and his country to the foreign streets of New York City where his past forces him to confront his sense of isolation and belonging.
Currently streaming on Netflix, this film is the winner of the "U.S. Best Fiction Feature" award by the LA Film Festival.
